The successful DJ releases his ‘Ray Of Solar’ remix today and credits Swedish House Mafia as the reason he started making music.

Dutch DJ and producer Mau P hasn’t slowed down since the mega-hit ‘Drugs From Amsterdam’ and today releases an official remix of ‘Ray Of Solar,’ the comeback hit by the world-famous DJ trio Swedish House Mafia. Mau P has managed to capture the essence of the original and transform the track into a euphoric masterpiece. The ‘Ray Of Solar’ remix is a fitting follow-up to ‘Metro,’ where the Dutch DJ first explored this production style.

In true Mau P fashion, it didn’t take long for him to follow up on his recently acclaimed work. In 2022, the Dutchman released originals and remixes for the biggest names in dance music at what seemed like an unprecedented pace. Mau P started the year with just one track in his discography. Eight months later, it’s filled with remixes for none other than Calvin Harris, the Swedish House Mafia, and Armand van Helden, as well as several originals, including the summer anthem of 2023, ‘Metro.’ A remarkable achievement.

“Music is definitely in my DNA, but I’m sure there would be no Mau P without the influences of the Swedish House Mafia. They are the reason I embarked on this path, and this remix is truly something that completes the circle for me,” says Mau P when asked about his latest work. “I feel like I have to come up with a new dream coming true quote every month, but nothing is as bizarre as this, for sure.”

Steve Angello adds on behalf of the Swedish House Mafia, “We’ve been watching Mau P for a while and are fans of what he’s done. We’re very happy that he’s doing a remix of our latest single, ‘Ray Of Solar!'”
