COS launches its latest Atelier collection, designed by COS’ in-house atelier, continuing its commitment to craftsmanship and contemporary tailoring.

Reinvented for the season, the spring collection presents innovative tailoring techniques and intricate dressmaking skills from ruched seams and internal corsetry forming sculpted silhouettes to grosgrain hanger loops and adjustable waists. Refined suit jackets feature inward folding lapels, while elongated sleeve lengths in shirting explore new opportunities for ways of wearing.

Through meticulous material selection, each garment illustrates COS’ unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, highlighting the brand’s devotion to quality and longevity. The rejuvenated palette balances soft, neutral tones with bold red and vibrant acid-yellow, complementing varying surface textures and transparent details. A hand-pleated technique using bespoke paper moulds forms a pair of wide-leg trousers and a coordinating scarf – hand-painted edges create depth and movement. Artfully crinkled fabrics enhance modern set dressing; an ethereal yarn made from paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® forms soft knitwear, while lightweight leather jackets, ballet flats and loafers are perforated with precision using a laser-cut technique.

The womenswear embraces elongated silhouettes, inspired by the 1990s fashion, pieces include dramatic maxi-length skirts and an elegant fishtail dress with a structured hem take centre stage. Menswear echoes the fluidity of the womenswear collection, championing relaxed cuts through loose-fitting overcoats and refined silk shirts. Completing each look, COS introduces sunglasses to its Atelier offering for the first time alongside elevated leather goods, unisex jewellery, broaches, and belt clips, which form a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic.

Alongside COS’ wider collection of icons, the COS Atelier Collection will be in-store and online at throughout the spring summer season.
