Following the launch of its Summer 2024 collection by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, Burberry unveils a series of product stories for the season featuring rainwear, bags, ready-to-wear, shoes and jewellery. RAINWEAR Re-imagining the trench coat for summer – the latest menswear and womenswear styles feature a variety of fabrics, including a changeant cotton twill inspired by 1940s designs. An archival Burberry fabric, the material is woven with contrasting yarns to create an iridescent effect and features alongside Burberry’s signature shower-resistant gabardine woven in England. Each coat is lined with the iconic Burberry Check, used in trench coats since the 1920s. The styles feature various elements such as raglan sleeves, detachable belts and exaggerated epaulettes.

Equestrian-inspired summer bags come in quilted and smooth leather, as well as seasonal check patterns. Key shapes include the Rocking Horse bag, a saddle-shaped design which adapts from a shoulder to a cross-body style with rein-inspired straps.

Prints remain a key focus across ready-to-wear. Seasonal check patterns in hunter, white, black and Knight Blue feature across T-shirts, skirts, dresses, and polo shirts. T-shirts and tanks are printed with summer fruits embellished with crystals, whilst lightweight shirts and shorts feature artwork inspired by our jewellery and bag hardware. Summer essentials such as bucket hats and baseball caps feature the classic Burberry Check, as well as the house’s new brand signifier, Knight Blue.
