44 LABEL GROUP presents its Fall/Winter 24 collection, “DYING SUN”, a tribute to R LABEL GROUP’s Legacy.

The collection pays homage to the groundbreaking work of Max Kobosil’s record label, R LABEL GROUP, which recently ceased activity leaving an indelible mark over the last ten years. The garments encapsulate perfectly the essence of R label’s legacy, incorporating visual cues, sentences, track names, and signature elements from past record covers and artworks.

The collection, titled “DYING SUN,” introduces remastered design icons that retain their underground cult credentials, intersecting cultural analysis with a visual language offering a unique fusion of fabrication and textures that reference subcultural contexts. The aesthetic is sharp, distressed, brutal, and industrial, interpreted through all-over prints, garment dye, and various treatments.

Key features of the collection include fluid distressed pants, crinkle fabric with a “hangover concept,” acid wash, laser etched fabric, and corrosion treatments. The line showcases a blend of refined items with wasted and distressed products, embodying the essence of the techno subculture.

We also see some garments incorporating the now highly recognizable logo in hidden, unexpected positioning, along with metal wire and lock detailing (hardware) and ID card holders. Icons like the MA-1 aviator jacket and multi-pocket cargo pants have been remastered, adding a fresh perspective with unique treatments and materials Our signature Symbiont T2 sneaker is being presented in three new colorways: stealth black, dirty white with red accents and in dirty white with fluo accents.
