YEAT LAUNCHES APP FOR LAST-MINUTE TABLES AT THE BEST RESTAURANTS
The young Belgian start-up YEAT enthusiastically presents its mobile app to the Netherlands. YEAT aims to allow restaurant-goers to quickly and last-minute book a table at their favorite restaurant without having to reserve weeks in advance. The app is also beneficial for restaurant owners. Thanks to the app, they can quickly and easily release tables instead of using time-consuming waiting lists to find someone who hasn’t made another reservation. YEAT makes its entrance in the Netherlands with an impressive lineup of 50 top restaurants, including Ciel Blue**, Meliefste*, and Pure C. With a total of 25 Michelin stars among them, the app guarantees an unforgettable culinary experience.
“The idea came from our own experience.”
Lore Aerts, co-founder of Yeat
Lore has been optimizing restaurant bookings at the Thai restaurant Boo Raan in Knokke-Heist for several years. Lore and Patrick De Langhe, the owner of the restaurant, were regularly faced with last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
“Very frustrating, especially when you’ve already had to disappoint dozens of people over the phone because you’re fully booked for the day.”
Patrick De Langhe, co-founder of Yeat
YEAT offers that elegant and fast solution. Now, if a table unexpectedly becomes available, you want to let people know immediately that they are welcome. Users receive a notification and can complete the reservation directly in the app.
The app is free for every foodie and very easy to use. You can download it on iOS and Android.
