In September, Vagabond Shoemakers releases its premium capsule collection Atelier by Vagabond, which consists of classic pieces with their own character. Made for the long haul, Atelier by Vagabond adds contemporary elements to the everyday wardrobe and celebrates “slow luxury”, where quality and craftsmanship are central.

Swedish fashion brand Vagabond Shoemakers is back this fall with a new Atelier collection, featuring pieces that are a perfect combination of old designs and new influences. Mixing preppy with edgy, the collection reworks classic styles such as loafers, riding boots and pull boots to give them a laid-back yet rugged elegance. With carefully selected materials, prefabricated outsoles and full leather lining, the premium collection stands for exceptional quality and thoughtful design – the perfect investment for a conscious consumer.

“Our goal is to create investment pieces that last for a long time, both in terms of quality and aesthetics. The Atelier collection is all about slow luxury, with long-term use and thinking beyond the season. By working with high-quality materials and by using smart design and refined details, the collection is the perfect combination of edgy expression and the core of alternatives.” says Marie Nilsson Peterzén, co-founder and creative director of Vagabond Shoemakers.

The collection consists of 16 pieces, including penny loafers, riding boots and shoulder bags. The biker boot Nour is the everyday style, available in both pull-up and harness versions, and the important style Samira is the sharp, pointy style with asymmetrical shapes, available as mid-calf and ankle boots. The Hanoi shoulder bag is the ultimate signature piece, with a full leather lining, hardware details and polished leather. The colors of the collection range from black and cognac to a darker brown, with a toned down amber green accent. Details include contrast seams, pointed toes, asymmetrical cuts, raw contrast edges and materials such as glossy leather and oiled nubuck.

Atelier by Vagabond will be released exclusively on September 20 with a pop-up in De Bijenkorf, Amsterdam, and on debijenkorf.nl. The collection will also be available on vagabond.com and in selected Vagabond Concept Stores.
