International clothing retailer UNIQLO today announced that it will launch the UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON spring/summer 2024 collection on Thursday, April 18. This new collection is inspired by mid-20th century British craftsmanship and the period’s signature focus on both materials and functionality. 24SS combines the thoughtful vision of UNIQLO LifeWear, designed with the needs of everyday life in mind, with the playful spirit of JW ANDERSON.

Designs Jonathan Anderson about the collection: “For this season we took inspiration from Britain from the 1940s to the 1960s to showcase the craftsmanship and durability of garments.”

A tribute to mid-20th century artistry
Knitted women’s polo shirts, crew neck sweaters and seersucker dresses in simple, bold primary colors are reminiscent of traditional British furniture designs. The stylishly rough, washed Dry Canoco T-shirt for men features a stunning graphic texture inspired by textile craftsmen.

Fabrics for ultimate wearing comfort
The women’s linen blend shirts feel smooth and feature handmade stitching and embroidery accents. The Cotton Sheer Voluminous Blouse is made of slightly transparent cotton and has a silhouette with a bow and cuffs. The cotton men’s jacket is made with a relaxed fit. Together with the unisex baker’s trousers, this item is made in natural textures, making a stylish complementary ensemble possible.
