The latest addition to Club Med will be opening its doors in the heart of the Alps. The resort is 2,100 metres above sea level, where seclusion near the peaks can be experienced.

The opening of the new Tignes Resort highlights Club Med’s historic commitment to providing guests with the ultimate mountain experience. Club Med has been innovating for 60 years in order to offer premium, all-inclusive holidays in 14 resorts in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps.

Club Med is a pioneer in mountain holidays and is constantly working to maintain its lead in terms of welcome, infrastructure and facilities for holidaymakers. By anticipating the needs and expectations of holidaymakers, Club  Med makes a difference by creating a smoother, more enjoyable and  relaxing experience for all the family.

SKIING

With unrivalled locations in the heart of Europe’s most iconic ski areas (Paradiski ®, Les 3 Vallées ®, Tignes, Serre-Chevalier, Saint-Moritz, Pragelato, etc.), Club Med has developed trusted partnerships with ski schools in each country. These close relationships result in exclusive coaching for all levels, from beginner to advanced.  With downhill skiing, snowboarding, crosscountry skiing and ski kindergartens, every  holidaymaker at Club Med can experience an Alpine adventure like no other.

ACCOMODATION

The most contemporary club med in the alps boasts 430 rooms, two restaurants, a huge swimming pool and a wellness area. All the ingredients for an unforgettable stay near the peaks. From the moment you enter, the colourful artwork and the presence of natural wood and stone transport guests into the cosy world of the mountains. From the bedrooms to the living areas, the Alpine tones are subtly mixed with a more contemporary design.

The Equinoxe bar (the beating heart of the resort) is a place to meet and socialise, where families can get together in a welcoming atmosphere. In recognition of the surrounding forest, the space is decorated with a large hut made of ‘tavaillons’ (hewn wooden tiles). Huge picture windows offer breath-taking views of the slopes and peaks. This panorama can also be admired from the large, sunny, south-facing terrace: the largest of Club Med’s Alpine resorts!

FEAST ON LOCAL FLAVOURS

Specially designed for families, the new Club Med Tignes has created comfortable living areas in which to enjoy  those special moments, whether over a drink or a gourmet break. The village’s two restaurants offer mountain  specialities in the evenings or at lunchtime. ‘Le Val Claret’,  the resort’s main restaurant, is like a walk in the mountains in that it is an invitation to discover Tignes and its  flavours. It comprises four areas dedicated to families – le Hameau (the Hamlet), le Sentier (the Trail), l’Atelier (the Workplace, in reference to the mountain dairy farms where the milk is transformed into butter or cheese) and le Lac (the Lake). The buffet offers a wide choice ranging from world cuisine to local specialities. ‘Le Solstice’ Gourmet Lounge celebrates the St. John’s Day fireworks which light up the mountain every year. With its multitude of light elements dancing above the fireplace, the lighting is evocative of the rituals associated with these small traditional fires. In the evening, dinner is served at the table, by reservation only. The restaurant also offers a wine cellar with a fine selection of wines, comprising great vintages, as well as regional wines which deserve to be better known.
