Fashion shows, press days, dinners and parties — there are a lot of events in the life of our magazine team. But if we plan our calendars around one thing, it is our magazine launch accompanied by a fabulous party. Year 2024 is truly special for us. Freshly published Issue 10 marks the fifth anniversary since the start of Numéro Netherlands. Named “FRENZY”, this print celebrates a powerful force, and in the words of our editor-in-chief Timotej Letonja, “a moment of epiphany, calcified into an everlasting source of inspiration. Frenzy is a feeling, an exhilarating state of excitement that one feeds off for eternity. Frenzy is energy, enthusiasm, thrill, and a sense of urgency.”

Our first biannual print of this year is out and available at selected magazine shops and online at numeromag.nl and boutiquemags.com. And this time around we came together with the iconic brand of LOEWE to celebrate yet another successful launch. 

Spanish house under the reign of Jonathan Anderson gained a lot of popularity, ranking last year as the most popular brand. One of the oldest luxury houses, it was founded by Enrique Loewe Roessberg in 1846. In 1905 King Alfonso XIII appointed LOEWE as the official supplier to the Spanish royal crown. Though the brand’s relevance remained constant for over a hundred years, Jonathan brought fresh wind that re-established LOEWE’s dominance in the fashion world. Through a delicate approach to the long standing brand’s identity combined with some viral moments, he transformed LOEWE into one of the hottest brands out there. 

The unpredictable Amsterdam weather graced us with an evening without rain, and so we all gathered in the outside space at LOFI. Whether you came ready to party or wanted to catch up with your friends, everything was prepared for you to have a good time. Tables with LOEWE candles and cushions on the seats provided the perfect cosy atmosphere to enjoy drinks by Noam beer, Hermit gin, Le Philtre vodka, Tecan tequila, L’OUI Cocktails, London Essence and Marie Stella Maris.

And when you were ready to dance, the dance floor was waiting in anticipation for you to discover your inner frenzy. Electronic music is woven into Numéro Netherland’s DNA, so it came as no surprise that our music director Joiah and DJ sensation Mall Grab took control of the DJ booth for the entire evening. With her impeccable taste, Joiah gave us a seamless blend of tracks. Her flawless transitions created a musical journey that captivated us, while Mall Grab’s took a unique mix of house, techno, and lo-fi beats truly crafted an experience to remember, keeping everyone moving. 

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Numéro Netherlands party if some of our amazing friends didn’t come to celebrate with us. Joel Sánchez, Amine, Alejandro Zwaterdijk, Beauïse Genç or Fia and Amaka Hamelijnck among others, coming dressed head to toe in LOEWE truly gave us some of our favourite fashion moments of the night. 

Another year, another magazine. And yet again, it was better than ever. As a part of the team, I can’t say how proud I am to see us grow, and to keep creating beauty like that. We are beyond grateful for all the support and trust in us, for all the friendships and partnerships that motivate us to go on. We may be a great team, but we wouldn’t be who we are today without a community like ours. So, a huge THANK YOU to all of you!
