Tailored gracefulness, dynamism and naturalness are the key traits of the Women’s Spring Summer 2022 Collection: Loro Piana takes one of the most classic summer fabrics, linen, and transforms it into something new.

The maison’s superb, iconic Antigua linen gains even greater resilience and refinement thanks to the use of twisted thread, which translates to intrinsically elegant garments; at the same time, a century of textile-sector experience goes into the creation of a three-layer, water-repellent, windproof technical fabric with extraordinarily high performance. The result: an active, versatile, dynamic wardrobe.

The new Technical Linen Rain System® is the quintessence of the innovation and savoir-faire that have always been Loro Piana’s hallmark: textured and pleasing to the touch thanks to a finishing process with aloe, it has a unique backing constructed with a breathable water-repellent membrane and a superfine coloured cotton jersey.

This fresh, modern linen shines in the Darius jacket and the Payton parka, both in pure white. The Darius Jacket is a cropped model with a sporty spirit – thanks to details like the hidden hood and two roomy appliqued pockets – and vintage charm; a drawstring waist shapes the silhouette and lends a more structured look. The hooded Payton Jacket is ideal for spring days in the city or out sailing; it features placket pockets, a double zipper and horn buttons.

The Antigua linen outfit with tropical Water Leaves embroidery is all about carefree summer style. The Dea Antigua Water Leaves jacket is effortless to wear; the classic lapel collar and single-button closure accentuate its sensuality and freshness. The distinctive touch is the embroidery at the edge of the sleeve, with sinuous graphic lines that seem to undulate, lending movement and refinement. It’s perfect matched with the flowing, high-waisted Thorne trouser, or the slightly-flared white linen Manny skirt.
