The collection follows the spectrum from ocean to earth and includes unique shades such as Atlantic Blue, Lagoon Green, and Terracotta – a varied color palette that takes its inspiration from nature.

Two different sizes are available, with 38mm or 34mm fully polished stainless-steel cases, all of which feature a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement. In addition, two 18K gold models have been released that add that extra touch of luxury. Crafted from OMEGA’s durable alloys, these timepieces accentuate the colorful look with their gold hue.

The evolution of a collection

OMEGA introduced the original “Aqua Terra” family in 2002. The bold range of timepieces was given a Latin name, paying homage to OMEGA’s rich nautical heritage and the original, legendary Seamaster models that were known for their reliability, both on the water (Aqua) and land (Terra).

The very first models offered a “refreshing contrast” of style and innovation that suited an active lifestyle. Combining city chic with modern nautical gadgets may have been a challenge, but the collection has been around for more than twenty years and has developed into one of the most characteristic and beloved timepieces.

Today, the Aqua Terra is known for its relaxed style, anti-magnetic materials, and precision power. With the launch of the “Shades” models, the collection receives a true injection of color and, of course, you are assured of our exceptional guaranteed thanks to the Co-Axial Master Chronometer certificate.

All about the dials

Within the Shades collection, each dial is made of brass and has a sunburst finish. The real magic is of course in the colors.

Thanks to the latest innovative technologies, OMEGA has been able to create unique shades that go beyond the colors of the past.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology creates an effect through the condensation of atoms or molecules that enables a coating in colors such as Terracotta, while CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) technology creates a chemical reaction that is perfectly suited to shades such as Sea Blue.

The 34 mm collection is available in the following colors: Atlantic Blue, Bay Green, Sandstone, Saffron, and Terracotta.

With the 38 mm collection, you can choose from: Sea Blue, Lagoon Green, Sandstone, Shell Pink, and Lavender.

Other bright ideas

The watches are equipped with a stainless steel bracelet. The renewed design has smaller and elegantly rounded links, which provide a fresh look within the Aqua Terra collection.

Dial finish

On the 34 mm collection, the dials are equipped with 18K white gold for the hands and the indexes, which are shaped like the hull of a sailboat. On the 38mm collection, OMEGA has adorned the dials with traditional rhodium-plated hands and indexes.

Classic look

To stay true to the essence of the Aqua Terra, each watch has a symmetrical case and crown in fully polished stainless steel, and the characteristic wavy edges on the back.

The caliber

The movement is powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8800. The Master Chronometer certificate means that each watch and its movement has passed all the rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology ( METAS). This guarantees the highest standard of quality, precision and magnetic resistance.
