Swarovski once again celebrated the glamorous Vienna Opera Ball with an exquisitely crafted Swarovski Tiara that adorned all 144 debutantes on the evening. Inspired by starry night skies, the dazzling 2023 Swarovski Tiara takes cues from the Swarovski Stella family, featuring a celestial design of shooting stars in a graceful nod to the jewels of Austrian Empress Sissi.

Swarovski has created a tiara for the Vienna Opera Ball every year since the 1950s, in a tradition that brings together two celebrated Austrian institutions for a special moment of wonder and savoir-faire. This year’s Swarovski Tiara is the first tiara designed by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert.

“This decades-long partnership unites two icons of Austrian culture in a display of beauty, creativity, and elegance. We are truly honored to be a part of this cultural tradition and we are looking forward to seeing this collaboration prosper for many years to come.”

said Alexis Nasard, Swarovski CEO.

Guests of Swarovski enjoyed a magical gala dinner at the Hotel Sacher, Vienna, before attending the prestigious Vienna Opera Ball at the Vienna State Opera. Several guests were dressed to celebrate in mesmerizing Swarovski jewelry, including artist and model Lili Paul-Roncalli and Fashion-Creator Nic Kaufmann.

The tiara was inspired by the Stella family and the collection is available to buy from Swarovski stores and Swarovski.com.
