R/HOOD played a key role in connecting STRAAT Museum and TENWAYS, and then in its turn art and design duo ‘Bomba’. R/HOOD champions innovative projects that redefine cultural expression. Both R/HOOD and STRAAT have aligning mission in their understanding of artistic expression can be seen in many forms and their commitment to fostering a thriving creative community.

Through STRAAT Agency, the museum identified the talented young art and design duo Bomba, consisting of Jesse Paauwe and Stijn Ros. The duo’s work is predominantly influenced by public spaces and translated into bold, captivating imagery across prints, paintings, commissioned designs, and murals. Bomba’s playful and experimental approach perfectly aligns with TENWAYS’ vision.

In a collaborative effort to celebrate the launch of TENWAYS’ new CGO 009 e-bike model, R/Hood approached STRAAT to create a campaign themed around “Greener Forward,” aiming to inspire a more environmentally friendly future. This project goes beyond just promoting the e-bike; TENWAYS wanted to use this campaign as a platform to elevate young, up-and-coming talent. So, STRAAT, TENWAYS, and R/Hood joined forces to find the perfect artistic partner who could bring this vision to life.

The collaboration extends beyond the final product. During school holidays, Bomba created their artwork, titled “Wheelies,” on-site at STRAAT. This provided a unique opportunity for local children to witness the creative process firsthand.

“We are delighted to partner with R/HOOD and TENWAYS on this campaign,” says Guy Georges Trigallez, Creative Director at STRAAT . “It allows us to support and empower rising creative voices like Bomba to explore crucial themes like sustainability, nature, and urbanisation.”
