SKIMS has announced that it will be expanding its retail presence internationally with the opening of its first physical shopping experience at de Bijenkorf in The Netherlands. The partnership with the renowned luxury department store will begin in two de Bijenkorf flagship stores, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, marking a milestone for SKIMS as the brand continues to bring one-of-a-kind shopping experiences to consumers in international markets. The SKIMS collection at de Bijenkorf will also be accessible on their webshop, available in both the Netherlands and Belgium.

To mark the launch of the new locations SKIMS will unveil an exclusive pop-up experience at de Bijenkorf Amsterdam, which will replicate SKIMS iconic activations with the signature curved panel structures in a glossy neutral palette. Throughout the pop-up, customers will also be able to enjoy service of SKIMS branded stroopwafels on the opening day and the opening weekend.

De Bijenkorf Amsterdam and Rotterdam flagship stores will both feature a dedicated SKIMS space where consumers will be able to shop from the brand’s best-selling collections including Fits Everybody, Seamless Sculpt, Cotton, and Core Control and it will also feature viral products such as the Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress. The shop-in-shop’s design is yet another example of the brand’s immersive and conceptual retail spaces, featuring SKIMS rounded edge surfaces, custom fixtures and the brand’s signature shapewear wall.

This is the first international launch of the year for SKIMS, following the opening of SKIMS Swim pop-up experience at Selfridges, London last summer and additional shop-in-shop openings at multi-brand retailers across the globe. SKIMS is continuing to expand internationally to broaden its reach and acquire new consumers beyond its direct-to-consumer business.

SKIMS is available at de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and online in the Netherlands and Belgium from February 26th 2024.
