On Monday night, the 75th Emmy Awards were finally held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by Anthony Anderson, top TV stars gathered to celebrate the outstanding TV performances and productions of 2023.

History was made that night as Elton John joined the EGOT club after winning Outstanding Variety Live Special, Quinta Brunson became the first black actress in 42 years to win the Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy category for her role as Janine Teagues in Abbot Elementary, and RuPaul secured his eighth consecutive win for outstanding reality competition, solidifying his position as the most awarded person of color in the category.

Succession, The Bear, and Beef had a remarkable night, clinching multiple awards by winning Outstanding Series in their respective genres of drama, comedy, and limited series. Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook claimed the titles of Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Drama Series for Succession. Jeremy Allen White secured the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a comedy series, while Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach triumphed as outstanding supporting actresses and actors in a comedy series for The Bear. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun emerged victorious as outstanding leading actresses and actors in a limited series for Beef.

Other notable win highlights of the night comprised of Niecy Nash-Betts securing the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a limited or anthology series for “Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” while Paul Walter Hauser emerged victorious as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a limited or anthology series for “Black Bird.” In the drama series category, Jennifer Coolidge took home the accolade for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in “The White Lotus.”
