RECAP OF THE OPENING OF THE PRIDE WEEK BY NUMÉRO x VIKTOR& ROLF x GLAAD

No matter what! No matter how! No matter why! We stand for universal love! Numéro Netherlands x Viktor& Rolf x Glaad got together on Friday 29th of July, to kick-off the beginning of the Pride Week in Amsterdam. With the goal to accelerate acceptance and foster inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community by sharing diverse and empowering stories, the event reunited influential voices within the LGBTQ+sub-community.

¨At Viktor&Rolf, we believe that Love is for everyone. We are proud to launch an extensive partnership with GLAAD, a LGBTQ+ media advocacy non-profit organization, to further accelerate our commitment to inclusion and acceptance. This year, during Pride month, we show our support to the LGBTQ+ community with a dedicated campaign, the Pride-Up Bracelet and a sizable donation to make an impact for GLAAD to continue doing its critical culture changing work and support LGBTQ+ people everywhere. It is only the beginning of a long-term engagement: we aim at involving the whole Viktor& Rolf community internally and externally into the necessary global movement.¨ Viktor& Rolf.

The event started with hosting influential voices within the LGBTQ+ sub-community, where stories have been heard and life values have been shared. On the beats of our DJ´s, during the event we reunited our forces and amplified the donation for GLAAD, in order to continue advocating further cultural change and accelerate acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community. In this way, we tried to enable that GLAAD would keep tackling tough issues to shape the narrative and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change, together with protecting all that has been accomplished, to be in a world where everyone can live the life they love.
