Multiple combinations of coloured stripes create a hypnotic experience in Prada’s pop-up store and shop windows at De Bijenkorf Amsterdam.

Starting from March 14th to April 6th, an original landscape inspired by the colours and atmospheres of striking distant lands expresses Prada’s key visual traits in a contemporary, ‘pop’ language. The brand’s spaces inside De Bijenkorf Amsterdam and in the department store’s windows are literally defined by light, resonating with special energy. The backlit surfaces feature a sequence of bright, alternating stripes in contrasting colours, while a neon sign provides a fresh, iconic interpretation of the Prada triangle logo.

The pop-up store inside the department store is characterized by the large, ivory-white and green striped carpet floor and the stylised tropical forest, with hundreds of Prada hats of various colours, models and materials growing like leaves and flowers on green metal trunks and branches.

Coloured stripes also feature the accessories: striped hats made of raffia – in several timeless styles – and nylon. The Prada Triangle bag available in leather, raffia and hemp provide another interpretation of the brand’s iconic triangle.
