Clothes for Progress and Pop Trading Company at Café40

“Better Together” — A Fundraiser night for urgent aid in Somalia and Nigeria

Launch: Nov 10th, 17–00h, at Café40 Oudebrugsteeg 7, Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Nov 10th, Clothes for Progress joins forces again with Pop Trading Company to present “Better Together” during a fundraiser night hosted by Café40. During the evening a collection of over printed tees, shirts, polos and hoodies will go on sale are presented in support of UN’s locally managed Somalian and Nigerian Humanitarian Funds to help them reach their goal of providing urgent aid and emergency support to communities that have been hit hardest by the increasing effects of climate change.

All items feature a print of an empty plastic water bottle, making a statement about the climate-fueled droughts in Somalia and floods in Nigeria, which reminds us of the luxury of access to bottled water. The collection consists of dead stock and prototype bases, which are hand printed with eco-friendly ink by Twee Jongens in Amsterdam.

The “Better Together” limited capsule collection will be on show and directly available during the night, with prices starting at €45. To keep it sustainable there will be an additional run of stock available based on a pre-order. In the weekend after the event any remaining items will be available online via @clothesforprogress as well as in the Pop flagship store (St. Annendwarsstraat 3).
