DIESEL unveils its Holiday 2022 campaign LIFE IS A GAME.

A collision of proportions, dimensions, bold scale and scenes, the campaign is a collage of disparate images shot in forced perspective style photography and infused with holiday spirit and humor.

Advancing the brand’s previous statements in large-scale juxtaposition, including the Fall/winter 2022 “Larger-Than-Life” campaign and the Guinness World Records largest inflatable sculpture at the SS23 Runway Show, LIFE IS A GAME feels almost like a series of highly stylized and sophisticated internet memes that combine seemingly unrelated images in ironic compositions.

Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens with art direction by Christopher Simmonds and lensed by Sharna Osborne – the campaign showcases select pieces and looks from Diesel Pre-Spring 2023 collection including a product mix across casual tailoring, evening-ready items, gifting accessories, seasonal denim, DIESEL’s D- Logo pieces, and sneakers.

About the Pre- Spring ‘23 collection:

It’s a permanent party with the Pre-Spring ‘23 collection, which is all about Pop, utility, denim: turning up the volume on experimentation and responsible innovation that’s for everybody. Signature pieces have evolved, and new styles are introduced, creating even more chances for play, rebellion and pleasure.

Branding is all about play. Diesel logo sweaters are printed on the inside, which appears on the outside as if the print bleeds. Cargo pants have oversized pockets; there’s fresh functionality in waterproofed denim jackets and coats. Neon sweater dresses are pure pop in pink, green or lime, whilst Metallic knit and dresses are a new Diesel signature.
