Founded in 2022 by Arthur Robert, OUEST Paris presents today its 5th collection for Fall – Winter 2024, its first on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.

It all started a few months ago, with a night out. Walking back home after hours of dancing, in the cold morning light in the streets of Paris. A slight haze, and putting back my coat on yesterday’s outfit.

OUEST Paris is an urban uniform, workwear for work and play. Rancher jackets, cowboy jeans, cargo pants and parkas now ride along tailored jackets, macs and double breasted coats. Signature pieces of the house, such as the apron pants, the trucker jacket or the skater shorts look sharp, in dressy wool, but keep their cool. Jeans and t-shirts, industrial clothes by design, are mixed with pieces made in Haute Couture ate- liers in Paris.

Moleskin, recycled denim, fuzzy and brushed lambswool, raw cords that clash with lacquered fa- brics, regenerated leather, satin and tulle. Tough and sensible get along, light crepe cottons, skin. OUEST Paris is only 2 years old, but a series of prints visit the imaginary archives of the house, on trompe l’oeil on current pieces. The OUEST signatures are present throughout the collection: the western clichés, the denim-ins- pired details, the cool attitude of a surfer and folk accents.

This season, OUEST Paris is proud to launch its first collaboration, a line of bags with CAHU, our Canal Saint Martin neighbor. Together, Arthur Robert and Clémence Cahu have reinterpreted her signature bag, the Pratique, with its super tough PVC and luxury details, in new shapes. The XXS, worn as a belt bag or crossbody, and the XXL, the perfect weekender, are joined by the Surf, a board case with all the CAHU details. The OUEST rivets and a surf-tinged labels sign the collaboration between the two houses.

OUEST Paris has a growing distribution in the world’s most respected retailers. The house was a finalist at the Pierre Bergé ANDAM Prize in 2023, and just entered the Sphere showroom.

Special thanks to Vinfast for their support on this presentation, and to A-Society for the sunglasses.
