“We always return to the core of creating something that inspires women to express themselves freely. Our SS24 collection embraces contrasts, merging feminine expressiveness with clean-line designs. Key pieces this season includes an oversized leather jacket, slinky dresses, tailored trousers, and statement blouses, along with bold jewellery and decorative shoes,” says Malin Sone, Head of Design at & Other Stories.

Each store iteration of & Other Stories draws inspiration from the local architecture, colours, and creative vibe. In the case of the Amsterdam location’s rebuild, the objective was to capture the city’s bold and edgy character, resulting in an elevated store concept reminiscent of an artist’s dimora, a space where she both lives and works.

Picture carefully curated interior decor pieces alongside fashion treasures chosen with the discerning eye of a creative mind and aesthetic. Industrial elements harmonize with historical architecture, softened by gentle contours, intricate details, and a contrasting materials. The updated color palette embraces warmer earthy tones, accented by touches of steel and metallic silver throughout the interior.

“It has been ten years since we first opened our store in Amsterdam, so we feel very much at home here. With this rebuild, we’re unveiling an elevated Stories experience that brings both vision and collections to light. We look forward to celebrating this reopening, welcoming all Dutch customers to explore our new world,” says Lina Söderqvist, Managing Director at & Other Stories.

Art feature
To shine a light on and support local inspirational talent, & Other Stories frequently invites artists to create permanent art features to provide a different creative twist to elevated concept rebuilds. The Amsterdam store will showcase pieces by Romy Yedidia – a visual artist working at the intersection of sculpture, installation, video, and performance. Located on the wall by the staircase, her installation titled Cornice is part of a performative sculpture series that investigates the link between an architectural element and the female body.
