Iconic surf and sports brand introduces new campaign ‘Liquid Backyards’

The O’Neill brand always had a strong connection with the water, as it was built on the game changing invention of the wetsuit. This Summer season the surf and sports brand challenges enthusiasts to embrace their free form liquid life in and out of the water. Splash in style with a wide range off shore-ready bikinis and shorts. Each piece is designed for a comfy ride and perfect fit on any occasion, wherever we are meant to be – the ocean, nameless beaches, canal boat trips and other seafaring adventures. This collection is available via selected retailers and O’Neill stores in Europe. Online via oneill.com.

The Unforeseen
As we all have experienced, we never know what will happen in the future. This collection is designed to get you prepared for any situation. Each day holds a surprise, let the unforeseen be, and dive into the unknown liquid backyards. The collection features a wide range of bikinis and shorts. The bikinis are made to embrace the water and ready for offshore adventures. The brand introduces three kinds of swim shorts. There is one for swimming, one for boarding and one hybrid short built for the parallel lives in and out of the water. O’Neill is all about stretching the boundaries of what innovative gear can do for the active outdoor. They have a tradition of paying a lot of attention to hyper functional and sustainable product design. All swimwear is made with at least 50% of all garments coming from recycled or upcycled sources.

About O’Neill
The wetsuit was the first of Jack O’Neill’s inventions that would revolutionise and massively popularise the surfing sport. It made him an instant legend in the world-wide surf community and his hands-on innovation would become a staple in so many outdoor sports where fellow natural world enthusiasts seek to extend their bliss. It also turned his San Francisco shack of a surf shop from the early 50’s into the world’s number one supplier of wetsuits and one of the most respected performance sportswear-based brands out there today.  Today, 50% of the O’Neill collection is part of the O’Neill Blue Label. O’Neill Blue products were designed for durability, more circularity and towards a better future. That’s why O’Neill currently has a minimum requirement of at least 40% preferred materials in a style to be classified as O’Neill Blue and will continue to raise this bar in seasons to come. By 2025 their goal is to have all garments under the O’Neill Blue label. The products are distributed to 86 countries worldwide. One team working together towards one goal: to provide active and meaningful experiences to an ever-growing community. O’Neill also organizes ocean clean ups, they have sustainable ways of manufacturing and give back through initiatives and projects such as the Surf Rider Foundation and Surfers not Street Children.
