Octobre Éditions, known for its essential menswear, has introduced a fresh addition to its spring collection through a collaboration with Mercer Amsterdam, a sustainable sneaker brand. This partnership includes the incorporation of Mercer Amsterdam’s plant-based sneaker model into Octobre Éditions’ lineup, presented in a revamped style.

Plant-based sneaker made of pineapple

The Re-Run “Pineapple” model is the first sneaker made from Piñatex, a sustainable material made from the waste from growing pineapples. Serving as a eco-friendly and plant-based alternative to leather, this innovative material aligns with the brand’s commitment to sustainability. In accordance with the brand’s sustainable policy, the model Re-Run has the labels GRS and is Peta approved.

An involved sneaker for a sustainable wardrobe

Octobre sells pieces that are crafted from 98% natural materials and 60% labeled. This new collaboration enriches Octobre’s wardrobe with essential pieces. The model is an excellent option for sustainable and responsible sneakers suitable for everyday wear. The Sneaker Re-Run Mercer x Octobre Éditions is available in two colors: cream and green.
