Fourteenth edition on 18 and 19 November at Evenementenhal Gorinchem

The 14th edition of the National Art Days will occur again this year at Evenementenhal Gorinchem on November 18 and 19. The art fair aims to make art accessible in an accessible way by presenting artworks in the presence of over 120 artists. The Nationale Kunstdagen distinguishes itself from other art fairs by welcoming everyone and emphasising that you do not have to be a connoisseur to enjoy art.

After several wanderings around the country, the National Art Days found a home in Gorinchem in 2021. Here, the art fair has grown into a well-attended event that attracts over 2,500 visitors. More than 120 artists exhibit their work in professional stands. At the fourteenth edition of this significant art fair, the range on offer is once again huge. At the Nationale Kunstdagen, you will find oil, acrylic or watercolour paintings and sculptures in wood, bronze and stone. There are also photographic artworks and unique handmade items such as bags, jewellery, drawings, and ceramics.

Directly from the artist
Because artists exhibit their work, interested parties can learn more about the creators’ vision and working methods in a relaxed conversation. If you love the work, you can often take it home immediately for a very reasonable price. This is because the artist does not have to give a percentage of the sale to the organisation, which has chosen this way to keep costs lower and the art more accessible for every interested party.

Easily accessible day out
A visit to the National Art Days is primarily a low-threshold and relaxed (mid)day out. The artists’ presence creates a casual atmosphere and allows interested parties to hear first-hand how a work of art was completed. Of course, visitors can also enjoy a snack and a drink in the art café to let a work they might be interested in sink in or to recover from all the impressions.
