MR PORTER and Scandinavian lifestyle brand ARKET team up for the first time to launch a limited men’s and kids’ capsule collection inspired by nature. The collection will launch on March 15, with 120 pieces at MR PORTER, and selected styles online at ARKET and ARKET’s flagship stores in London, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Amsterdam.

Shared principle

MR PORTER and ARKET worked together throughout the entire collaboration process, from collection development to creative campaign. This was inspired by a shared principle of modernist, bold and colorful design that embraces nature – important principles for both brands’ global customer base.

Ready to wear

The collection consists of a clear range of everyday ready-to-wear basics and accessories; jackets, anoraks, sweaters, T-shirts, trousers and caps are designed for modern life. It’s a real family affair, with selected pieces designed to match the collection of 70 for men and 50 for children.

Planet Good Earth

Some of the collections are created in collaboration with Planet Good Earth of London, a community project that brings families together through gardening and inspires them to be part of the global environmental movement. This is brought to life by a series of Planet Good Earth graphics on select garments, including a green-fingered “good earth, good energy” character, a Good Earth smiley world cartoon and a series of animated garden friends.

Highlights

Men’s highlights include a rugby shirt, available in both red and orange and green and yellow stripe, quilted jacket and matching waistcoat in lilac, and a mustard long sleeve t-shirt with Planet Good Earth pocket and graphic on the back. rear end. Extra attention has also been paid to the fabrics – a windbreaker is available in blue and green and is designed in Limonta fabric, a highly regarded, high-performance technical fabric made in Italy. Accessories include a multicolored five-panel cap, a lilac and green beanie and two colour-blocked ribbed rugby socks.

Playful and lively

Styles and colorways are reflected in the children’s clothing collection, allowing adults and children to style the collection intergenerationally. Bright colours, such as the blue fleece jacket with orange piping or the hooded bathrobe, also with rugby stripes, offer a playful and lively wardrobe for the whole family.
