Moschino 2024 Resort womenswear and Spring/Summer menswear is led by the idea of love; these are fluid clothes to be worn as one is, not powered by a romantic love, so to speak, but the love of a full heart.

Thematic Franco Moschino tenets, such as hearts, are on display.

They appear as visual motifs, from embroideries on simple tank tops to metal accents on heavy gold chains or sewn, as faux-piercings, onto shirts.

The heart is also lifted from its 2D form to be shaped into handbags, and the slogan “In Love We Trust” appears intermittently throughout.

A looseness and ease is visible in the tailoring–tailoring being a Moschino code–so that outfits may be worn in dynamic, interchangeable scenarios.

This ties back to the underlying verve of warmth: Love, like clothing, has no constraints when it’s real and true.

Mid-wash denim separates, a cut-and-sewn scarf treatment (adding swaths of colour), all-over sequined dresses, high-contrast referee stripes and a free-from hand-drawn pattern round out this more open-armed–yet still just as joyful–proposal.

The era is changing but it’s still “100% Pure Moschino.”
