Last week Moët & Chandon Canal House opened in Amsterdam. Amongst the guests attending the festive opening were singer Alain Clark, chef Margo Reuten, model Gia Bab, actress Yootha Wong Loi Sing and of course Numero’s editor in chief, Timotej Letonja. During the evening many unexpected activities took place. From a ballet dancer, to a brass band and windowcleaners doing a little striptease and ending up in beautiful tuxedo’s. These unexpected acts are also something you can expect in this champagne bar. The pop-up champagne bar is located in one of the buildings from The Collection, on Herengracht 433. The pop-up bar is opened until the 25th of April, so this is the last weekend you could check out this beautiful hotspot. At the champagnebar they serve: Mini Moët, Moët Impérial, Rosé Impérial, Ice Impérial, Grand Vintage 2013, Grand Vintage Rosé 2013 and champagne cocktails. There is also an oyster bar, and on the rest of the foodmenu are bites matching the champagnes. Beetroot taco’s with mango chutney is served with Moët Imperial, triple tuna with the Rosé imperial and caviar with the Grand Vintage 2013. Moët & Chandon is doing walk in’s, but it’s also possible to reserve a spot. This Saturday Dutch sustainable couture designer Ronald van der Kemp is giving a fashion clinic. There are still a few spots available via www.pressforchampagne.com . Tickets include 2 glasses of champagne and 2 bites. On weekends the bar is open from 12.00 till midnight and on Monday from 17.00 till midnight.
