Mighty Hoopla announces the addition of the incredible Cat Burns to the already stellar 2024 line-up. She is set to play on Sunday 2nd June. Since first appearing in 2017, Cat Burns has gone from strength to strength, notably with her 2020 x2 Platinum single, ‘Go’, which reached No.2 in the UK charts and has cemented Cat Burns as a soon-to-be household name. To date, Cat Burns has received numerous award nominations from the likes of BRITS, BBC Radio 1, MTV European Music Awards, and Ivor Novello’s, and she has won the The Music Award at the 2022 Attitude Awards and the ‘Rising Star In Music’ honour at GAY TIMES Honours the same year. Her 2024 Mighty Hoopla performance is certain to be a festival moment to remember and not to be missed!

Cat Burns joins an already incredible plethora of queer femme artists that were announced last year. Notably this year’s festival includes the critically acclaimed Alison Goldfrapp, 00’s pop-punk duo The Veronicas, award-winning all-female DJ group Girls Don’t Sync, South African electronic artist Toya Delazy, and London’s queer party collective Big Dyke Energy to name a few.

Speaking about her upcoming performance at Mighty Hoopla, Cat Burns said: ‘I’m so excited to be performing at mighty hoopla this year, I’m such a fan of the other performers too so I just can’t wait!!’

Speaking about the addition of Cat Burns, festival organisers Glyn Fussell and Jamie Tagg said: “Cat Burns is an absolute powerhouse and we are thrilled that she is joining Sunday’s Hoopla line up. We have been a long time fan but to see Cat live in the sunshine is going to be a real treat!”

Whilst Cat Burns joins headliner Jessie Ware on the incredible Sunday billing, the sold-out Saturday will see the likes of UK exclusive headliner Nelly Furtado, Grammy award-winning and chart-topping Kim Petras and R&B legends En Vogue. Elsewhere on Saturday you can expect showstopping DJ sets from Maya Jane Coles and Gok Wan, rising pop stars Bellah Mae and Say Now, hyper-pop prodigy Rebecca Black, and a showcase of London’s buzzing queer nightlife with West End’s fabulous Kinky Kabaret and drag king variety performers Man Up!. Following overwhelming demand last year, Real Housewives of New York City star Countess Luann has also announced that she will bring her sensational cabaret show to both the Saturday and Sunday.

Since its inauguration in 2017, Mighty Hoopla has become THE pop moment in the festival calendar – an unmissable celebration of queer joy, vibrant acceptance and liberation for all – soundtracked by the very best in pop, dance, arts and so much more. 2024’s Mighty Hoopla will take place on Saturday 1st June and Sunday 2nd June and promises a line up bigger than ever before.

With both Saturday and Weekend tickets already sold out, fans will want to act quickly to ensure they secure their place at this year’s Mighty Hoopla! Sunday tickets are running low but still available to purchase from £54.50 + booking fee.
