This year, the Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” exhibit, dedicated to the legacy of fashion genius Karl Lagerfeld.

Carla Bruni walked the red carpet in a black and white look, paired with jewels from the Messika High Jewelry collections, as a tribute to her loyal friend Valérie Messika, and an accessory as a nod to Karl Lagerfeld – a fan. She wore the Flappers choker, along with the Bright Falcon bracelet and Twin Soul ring.

The face of the House, Alton Mason, sparkled on the red carpet as Chanel groomed the Miss SummerHigh Jewelry necklace.

For her very first Met Gala, Doja Cat wore an outfit that referenced Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, Choupette. The singer chose a selection of Messika High Jewelry jewels to complete her Oscar De La Renta dress. Doja wore a custom headpiece with a 17-carat pear-shaped diamond and a custom arm jewel with two pear-shaped diamonds measuring 2.8 and 4.5 carats, paired with the two iconic Mata Hari and Roaring Diamonds bracelets, as well as the Rockefeller, Wild Moon, D-Vibes and Illusionist rings.
