Catching up with Valentin Poser, the visionary founder of the bespoke Brand Consultancy and Communications Agency, Avenue V. Communications, to explore his distinctive approach to hospitality and luxury brands.

What is the DNA of Avenue V. Communications?
Avenue V. stands out for its unpretentious and accessible approach to communication, marketing, and brand consulting, offering real strategies and solutions to an exclusive portfolio of clients. Building long-term and rewarding relationships with these clients is at the core of the agency, with a focus on nurturing a brand’s image and relevance in changing markets.
At Avenue V. we work closely with each brand to determine the best unique approach, enabling us to communicate across categories from luxury hospitality to state-of-the-art lifestyle brands as well as beauty, design, and fashion brands. We’re based in the heart of Dubai, with an international reach through a well-maintained network of media partners, ambassadors, and influencers.
Which services does Avenue V. offer? And with which brands have you collaborated?
We offer 360° tailor-made communication strategies to our clients, including Brand Positioning, Media Relations & Strategies, Content Creation, as well as Opinion-Leader & Influencer Relations.
We primarily work with luxury brands, to name a few: The Edition hotels, InterContinental Resorts, Santa Marina (a luxury collection resort) in Mykonos, One and Only Resorts, Four Seasons, and Waldorf Astoria. Additionally, we represent the Biologique Recherche Expert Center, a one-of-a-kind concept. Recently, we have been handling the PR and Communications for several luxury hospitality brands in Mykonos through a luxury concierge, working with iconic brands such as Nammos, Zuma, Coya, and Cavo Tagoo. We have also created an outstanding creative campaign for Aston Martin. Furthermore, we launched the Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga in NOMAD Restaurant, and our portfolio expands to several luxury brands across GCC and Europe.
What thrills you the most about your business?
I have a very competitive nature and thrive on proving myself in this very fast-paced world! I simply love establishing a win-win relationship with the brands I work with. Coming from a luxury background with a Ph.D. in Behavioural Marketing from Germany, drafting and establishing strategies for the brands I work with is something that genuinely thrills me and puts me at ease, it might sound like a cliché, but I guide my clients through our Avenue, hence the name Avenue V., navigating our clients through our Avenue from A to Z!
What sets you apart from your competitors?
As much as I appreciate traditional PR strategies and methods, I enjoy showcasing the hospitality brands I work with through a lens of creativity and lifestyle. I redirect many fashion and lifestyle photoshoots with tier-1 publications in the region to highlight the hospitality brands we collaborate with. I also have a strong affinity for Cross-Branding, where I study and analyse each brand’s unique identity to leverage the market strength, brand awareness, positive associations, and cachet of two or more brands to compel consumers to pay a greater premium for these brands.
We also treat our clients as members of our Avenue. To me, they are not just numbers that must meet their KPIs by the end of the month, they are stories that deserves to be showcased in their finest form. Therefore, the personal human element is what sets us apart. We handle each client with full attention and utilize a team of experts with an outstanding track record in the industry.
