Marchon Eyewear, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of premium eyewear and sunglasses in the world, and global fashion lifestyle brand Calvin Klein  celebrate the 30th anniversary of their global eyewear licensing partnership with the introduction of a special capsule collection and dedicated campaign.

Calvin Klein and Marchon began dating as licensing partners in 1992. At the time, the idea of a fashion brand licensing its name for eyewear was a new concept. Calvin Klein was one of the first brands to launch an eyewear and sunglasses collection that was sold worldwide through independent eyewear stores and prestigious department stores. Calvin Klein Eyewear was an immediate success and has been one of the most recognized eyewear brands ever since.

Calvin Klein Eyewear is known for a modern, minimalist approach to design and sensual aesthetics. The anniversary collection is a tribute to the brand’s first collection, a nod to the iconic 90s models.  The inspiration for the 5 glasses models and 4 sunglasses models was taken from some of Calvin Klein’s most memorable eyewear frames. All models in this eyewear collection have a gender-neutral shape, are made exclusively from titanium and made in Japan.

“We are extremely proud to celebrate this long-standing partnership with Calvin Klein,” said Nicola Zotta , president and CEO of Marchon Eyewear, “This capsule collection is a nod to our shared history and we look forward to many more successful years in which we continue to drive Calvin Klein’s business with eyewear.”

“We are delighted to honor this important milestone in the brand’s history with Marchon,” said Trish Donnelly , CEO, PVH Americas and Calvin Klein Global. consumer.”
