Maeden announces their nomination as one of the finalists of the prestigious 2024 ANDAM Fashion Awards. Selected by the 32 members of the ANDAM jury, the Amsterdam-based luxury label will be competing for the Accessories Prize. On June 27th, founder and creative director Christian Heikoop will present Maeden to the jury panel.

The ANDAM Fashion Awards, founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour and chaired by Guillaume Houzé, are renowned for their commitment to nurturing upcoming talents in fashion. While the winners of the award receive a financial grant and mentorship, all finalists gain access to ANDAM’s support program. Thanks to the dedication of their sponsors and extensive network, ANDAM offers invaluable expert advice to aid these young designers in structuring and expanding their business.

This year’s finalists have been selected for their exceptional creative vision and business potential. The five fellowship winners will receive a prestigious Swarovski trophy designed by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Yves Saint Laurent and mentor of this edition.

“I’m thrilled and honored to be nominated. For me, this nomination validates Maeden’s journey so far and clearly signals we’re on the right track. It’s very exciting and a huge positivity boost for us as a team. I can’t wait to showcase our brand to the prestigious jury next month.” — Christian Heikoop, Creative Director Maeden.

“I’m delighted that Christian and his innovative brand, Maeden, have been nominated for this prestigious award. His vision to create a brand that truly merges craft and innovation and transparency in sustainable practices, have been recognised by high calibre retailers worldwide, from Japan, a market that embraced Maeden from the beginning of its journey to France and North America. In a highly competitive field, his design is true to the materials used, refined and accessible.” — Lucia Restelli, Global Sales Director of Rainbowwave.
