On January 10, Lois Jeans showed its FW23 collection at the Opera House of Oslo (Operaen), one of the world’s most beautiful architectural landmarks. The Opera House exclusively opened their doors for 400 guests to witness a first time spectacle where fashion, live music and ballet were brought together.

The full show was accompanied by an orchestra of 22 Norwegian music students, playing one single piece of live music; the iconic Boléro by the French composer Maurice Ravel. Amongst the international group of models were Danish icons Tobias Sorensen and Alberte Morensen and Norway’s Gustav Witzøe.

For the FW23 collection, Lois has chosen the theme ‘High Society’, inspired by the New York looks in the 80’s. Two main directions have been highlighted to work as sub-themes for the collection. The first is 80’s Groovy Chic and the second is Preppy Chic. The 80’s Groovy Chic part gives the collection a touch of glam and lightness, while the Preppy Chic styles add a rodeo signature on top.

We’ve mixed this with true Lois archive essentials and it turned out to be a timeless collection that stands out in the jeans market because of the unique Lois DNA,”
