L’AIMÉ launches new scented candle in collaboration with Items’14 Antwerp
At L'AIMÉ they have known for a long time: lighting a candle is a powerful and positive gesture full of light and warmth. In collaboration with the sustainable knitwear label Items'14 Antwerp, an elegantly designed crocodile was chosen for the latest scented candle, which symbolizes this power. The new candle is handmade by one of the oldest pottery factories in Europe, Royal Goedewaagen.

After a first meeting about developing a linen water, founders Cloé Kersten (L'AIMÉ) and Claudia Jaspers (Items'14 Antwerp) appeared to have many similarities, both in their work and private lives. The idea to expand the collaboration in addition to a linen water was quickly born. Because sustainability is an important part of their corporate vision for both brands, it was decided to produce the candle locally in the Netherlands. The candle holder is made with love and care in the Royal Goedewaagen factory in Drenthe, where craftsmanship is central to everything they do. The candle itself is handmade in the Netherlands with natural oils sourced from traditional perfumers in Grasse. With the launch of the earthenware crocodile candle, L'AIMÉ adds a completely new design to its existing collection of scented candles in glass. The L'AIMÉ X Items'14 Antwerp candles are available from the end of November for €149 each.
The L'AIMÉ X Items'14 Antwerp crocodile candle comes in the latest fragrance Bois de Saffron. The fragrance consists of top notes of spicy saffron and peach. Heart notes of pink camellia, patchouli, iris, nagarmotha and base notes of amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Other personalized scented candles from the L'AIMÉ collection are now also available in Bois de Saffron.
In addition to a new fragrance, L'AIMÉ is also introducing an extra large size scented candle of 1000 grams. This candle has no less than 70 burning hours and can be personalized with your own unique text such as a personal wish, specific date or the name of your loved one. The large-sized candle is available in the scent Bois de tonka and the colors cream and gold. The greeting candle is available from €95.50, available from December 1 and can already be pre-ordered.
