“Leap of Faith” Delivery 2 continues the SS23 season, building on the success of the initial launch, and working as an extension of what was shown on the runway in Paris back in June 2022.

The assortment features an ever-growing list of developments with a focus on mixing new ideas and ways of styling, including outerwear with luxe fabrications. A highlight is printed silk in lavender and gold stripe, both in shorts and shirting, geared towards high summer. In addition to new leather ideas like the Cafe Racer, the collection also includes John Elliott staples like the classic Hemi Shirt, envisioned in new ways. The Half Zip rendition has attitude, with dropped shoulders and an oversized sleeve. It comes crafted in corduroy across a beautiful color palette.

New denim, as we’ve always done, comes authentically washed out of Japan, now with an expanded offering that includes more experimental ideas like bleached-out striping effects.

“We wanted this collection shot in an architectural setting, so we took it to the hills of Malibu, at a property designed by Eric Lloyd Wright, the grandson of Frank,” said John Elliott. “The structure is made of concrete, which has always been a source of inspiration for the brand. It has brutalist tones that work well with the palette of the collection, juxtaposed with vast landscapes that are intended to give an emotion of freedom.”
