Designer Jenia Kim presents a captivating collection inspired by the fusion of sculptural forms and exceptional textures for FW24. The collection seamlessly integrates cultural embroidery styles, Uzbek craftsmanship, and abstract shapes. Jenia’s attention to detail ensures that each piece in the collection exudes its own unique personality.

In her latest collection, Jenia introduces a range of garments inspired by graceful silhouettes. The designs are seamless and streamlined, featuring sophisticated wool coats, clean-cut tailored suits, and jacquard shirts with rounded shoulders. Notably, the theme of exquisite vases is reflected in unique earrings crafted by molding bird-shaped vessels, adding an extra layer of artistry.

Adding a delicate touch to the collection, Jenia draws inspiration from Rishtan ceramics and porcelain figurines. A standout piece is a novel dress silhouette resembling an amphora with two handles. Authentic craftsmanship takes center stage in knitted items influenced by naive embroidery, known as Suzani. Infused with a spiritual essence, the collection features special pieces adorned with amulets designed to ward off evil spirits. Each transformed garment transcends its context, time, and space, inviting the imagination to weave its narrative.

The collection will be showcased at the new J.Kim Craft Shop located in the Chorsu Bazaar at the heart of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
