IWC’s TOP GUN Pilot’s Watches have been synonymous with modern aviation since 2007. Very special and advanced materials are a fixture at IWC Schaffhausen.
This year IWC illustrates this with the release of a number of brand-new TOP GUN models. In colored ceramics, among others, such as the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition ‘Lake Tahoe’ with a white ceramic case and black dial. Or the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition ‘Woodland’ with a dark green ceramic case and matte black Ceratanium® caseback.

IWC Schaffhausen CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr: “These new chronographs not only highlight IWC’s longstanding and extensive experience in chronographs and advanced materials. The ceramics used for the cases also illustrate the current evolution of TOP GUN. From a collection primarily focused on performance to a bold style statement and an expression of a distinct way of life.”

Inspiration for the new TOP GUN collection came from the color of uniforms and the fascinating landscapes that pilots witness during their flights. Chief Design Officer Christian Knoop adds: “In an unprecedented engineering process, we developed two completely new ceramic colors – ‘IWC Lake Tahoe’ white and ‘IWC Woodland’ green – and meticulously matched all other components of the watches to these new shades.”
