Interview by Jana Letonja

Colombian actor Felipe Londoño is one of the protagonists of the successful Spanish series ‘Entrevías’ on Netflix. Third season was released on 23rd February. This year is shaping up to be a busy one for Felipe, as he will star in the successful trilogy ‘Culpa tuya, culpa nuestra’ for PrimeVideo and in the 2nd season of ‘PerfilFalso’, a Netflix Latam series.

Felipe, you started your career in Colombia before moving to Spain. How has your career evolved over the years?

I am going to be almost 10 years old in this profession and I immensely value all the good and everything bad that has happened to me, since from this I have begun to grow both personally and professionally. Without a doubt, before and after my arrival to Spain, my career has been adapting to an audiovisual industry totally different from the Latin American one, internationalizing myself and putting myself in the sights of everyone as a result of my work.

And how would you say you have evolved as an actor, since your first role?

Growth has been exponential. Whenever you start in this profession, for the vast majority you do it by playing small roles and as a result of that evolution, from that growth, you are acquiring better bases for the creation of your characters. Being an actor or artist, they put you to a point of maximum sensitivity. I certainly thank this profession for giving me the empathy and serenity to see and understand the world from love.

You are one of the protagonists of the successful netflix series ‘Entrevías’. What can the fans expect from the upcoming third season, which is coming out in February?

Fans around the world have been waiting for almost a year for this third season that is much more explosive, full of new plots and characters.

How has the experience of starring on this series been for you? What do you find the most challenging about it and your character?

I am very proud to be part of the most watched Spanish series on Netflix in 2023. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my career not only because of what it entails, but also because I am working alongside Jose Coronado and Luis Zahera, two splendid colleagues that I deeply admire. I can say that when you work with a team as wonderful as this you don’t find it difficult to create and develop your character. On the contrary, everything is much easier.

This year, we’ll be seeing you in the trilogy ‘Culpa tuya, culpa nuestra’ on PrimeVideo. What can you share with us about this project, its story and your character?

Being in the most watched movie in the history of PrimeVideo fills me with a lot of pride and I’m very happy. Being part of the cast of this trilogy is a giant challenge because right now there are millions of fans around the world who are looking forward to the second and third part of the movie. I can’t tell you much about my character, but I know you’re going to love it. Surely by this summer, you will be able to see it.

You’ll also be starring in the second season of Netflix’s series ‘Perfil Falso’. Can you tease a bit about the upcoming season?

I can’t tease much because we will start filming this second season soon. ‘Fake Profile’ was also the most watched Latin American Netflix series in 2023. An erotic drama that comes loaded with new characters, new stories and a lot of sex.

How and when did your passion for acting begin?

My passion for interpretation began when I was very young. Since I was at school, I always had an affinity for art. And not only for interpretation, but for dance and singing as well.

What kind of roles or projects are on your bucket list for the future of your career?

Making movies for me is undoubtedly my greatest passion. I would love to be able to exploit cinema a little more in Spain and from there expand around the world. I must confess that I have a fascination with antagonistic characters.

When you are not working, how do you like spending your free time?

I love traveling, connecting with nature and spending quality time with my friends. I wouldn’t change it for anything.

How do acting and fashion complement each other in your opinion?

In my opinion, acting and fashion complement each other in various ways. Fashion plays an important role in the creation and characterization of characters in a theatrical or cinematographic production. In addition, fashion can also be influenced by acting, since actors and actresses can become references of style and trend.
