New York’s 1980s pop art and street culture invades the eastern beaches of Italy for the Iceberg Spring Summer 2022 beachwear collections.

“It’s all about bringing together a group of globalised individuals who love travelling between major cities like Milan, London and New York and collecting inspirations from subcultures and then bringing it back to Iceberg’s ancestral home,” muses ICEBERG Creative Director James Long.

This season the UK native conjured the Dolce Vita beach club scenes of popular Italian cities like Riccione and Rimini through vintage ice cream, a pop banana motif and bold beach-towel stripes. An enticing color palate of creamy mints, yellows, pink and sky blue, enhances men’s and women’s swimwear collection settings the tone for a season of fun.

The men’s line includes different fits and models: lycra briefs and trunks, canvas boxers of variable length, t-shirt, and polo shirt. The women’s collection, also made up of various models and multiple “fits”, includes triangle bras, bandeau, and tops, sporty or not, that match perfectly with the briefs, such briefs with bows, with laces, high-waisted or simple closed briefs; to these are joined the one-piece swimsuits that enhance femininity thanks to sinuous lines and a modern cut. The women’s line is completed by a series of “out of water” samples: kaftans, shorts, dresses, ponchos, tank tops and t-shirts. Unmissable, the beach towels in velor, 100% cotton.
