Heineken is introducing Player 0.0, an innovative gaming initiative in collaboration with Heineken 0.0 ambassador Max Verstappen. This novel concept lets Formula 1 enthusiasts virtually race to the Zandvoort circuit prior to the FormulaTM 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix in August. The most skilled racers will then contend for a coveted spot in the international SIM-racing finale against Max Verstappen later in the year. This endeavor is an integral part of the “When You Drive, Never Drink” campaign, aimed at promoting responsible alcohol consumption, particularly among the younger generation.

Player 0.0 exemplifies Heineken’s commitment to endorsing responsible alcohol usage. Max Verstappen, a significant figure in the campaign, delivers the resounding message that responsible drivers abstain from consuming alcohol, except when it’s Heineken 0.0.

Moreover, Heineken is conducting a quest to unearth the Netherlands’ premier driver through the Player 0.0 competition. Any individual aged 18 and above can qualify for the finals by clocking a competitive time on the Zandvoort circuit in the F1 game by EA Sports and subsequently sharing a screenshot on the competition platform. The top 18 swiftest racers will vie for the chance to participate in the international SIM-racing finale, while an additional 18 wildcards will be awarded to other participants.

Player 0.0 is an international phenomenon available for Heineken and Formula 1 fans in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States. The international final will take place later this year.
