The Gucci FaII Winter 2023 Men’s Collection announces a new era for the House. Crafted by an in-house team, it is the first collection since Alessandro Michele’s departure last November and Gucci’s first menswear show in three years.

The improvisation is at the core of this highly awaited collection. Described as a creative tool by the brand, the art of improvisation is founded in the savoir-faire of its practitioners. A true dive into the House’s memory, Gucci FW23 is indeed a mirror of the designers and craftsmen who have shaped the House of Gucci.

The show took place in a dimly lit circular theatre, where Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog performed a special musical composition. This live performance shaped the rhythm of the show, reflecting the energies of the collection. The circular formation of the stage was a symbolic of the creative community at the heart of Gucci.

The collection focuses on the must-haves of the classic gentleman’s wardrobe, redefined by the combination of craftsmanship and improvisation. These essentials are finely punctuated with touches of glitter and pastel colors.

Gucci introduced a new interpretation of the house’s coated monogram, the “Crystal GG”, printed on workwear looks such as overalls, but also on bags and shoes.

The collection is a brilliant reinterpretation of the past, showing the House’s greatest successes, and gives an exciting taste of the new directions to come.
