Givenchy is pleased to unveil a warm, summery new take on its emblematic 4G motif.

Inspired by the House’s couture heritage, 4G embroidery on raffia builds on the allure of the new monogram jacquard canvas developed by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams for Spring-Summer 2022.

With 4G-embroidered raffia, the Creative Director highlights his love of contrast and the versatility of Givenchy’s savoir-faire. The texture of the raw, natural fiber, paired with accents in earthy beige leather and sophisticated gold-finish hardware, brings a modern allure to essential handbag styles: the Antigona in mini and small sizes, the 4G handbag in small and medium sizes, a small Cut Out, and the G-Tote in two sizes.

Each bag in 4G-embroidered raffia corresponds to multiple styles of wear. The Antigona mini is designed to be carried by hand, over the arm or crossbody. The 4G comes in three variations: one small size has a fine chain for crossbody wear, while another crossbody style features two straps, one a chain interlaced with leather the other a slim leather strap, for versatility of wear. The medium-sized 4G may be worn crossbody thanks to a woven raffia strap subtly embellished with hardware details; the strap also may be removed to create a dressier, clutch style. The Cut Out shoulder bag, with its wood and leather handle and G-cube strap, is an artful piece of basket-weaving that lends itself to hand- or shoulder carrying. The G-Tote fuses elegance with ultimate functionality.

Prices for raffia handbags with 4G embroidery range from 990 euros for a mini G-tote to 1,850 euros for the Antigona (small size).

These styles is available in Givenchy boutiques and online.
