As part of ARCA’s week-long 1st birthday celebrations, on Thursday 3rd November, travel through Portugal with Henrique Sá Pessoa & the father of modern Portuguese cooking, Vitor Sobral, in the second edition of ARCA Behind the Pass, a series of exciting chef collaborations!

Considered the driving force behind new Portuguese cuisine, a head judge on Masterchef Portugal, and behind some of Lisbon’s best restaurants, Vitor was one of the first ones who dared to use his imagination in order to create art with ingredients from his home country. On Thursday 3rd November, together with Henrique, he will be putting down those Masterchef whites, to take guests on a journey through some of the most gastronomic regions of the country.

From Madeira to Lisbon, Porto to Alentejo, and the volcanic islands of Azores, the award-winning chefs will craft a six course menu inspired by their homeland, with wines perfectly chosen to complement the flavours and experience of authentic Portugal.

Be ready to join behind the pass at 6PM at ARCA Bar for a welcome drink and a chance to mingle with the chefs, before sitting down in the restaurant for the main event.
