Pop, irreverent and show-stopping. The GCDS Spring-Summer 23 campaign is Hollywood glam without any of the retro nostalgia. Shot in Los Angeles by photographer Zhong Lin under Giuliano Calza’s artistic direction, Nicola Peltz Beckham takes center stage. 

Against a Gothic-tinged cinematic backdrop, the campaign unleashes GCDS’s bold kaleidoscopic aesthetic. Nicola Peltz Beckham stirs things up in a sexy little black dress and the new, transparent Rider Pump. Spongebob pops up on a pink slip dress, paired with the all-black vinyl Morso thigh-high boots, this season’s must-have. The Comma Bag and platforms can be seen in all their club-approved glory. While logo socks, a white tank top and bling denim are the brand’s signature cool and playful uniform.

“Zhong Lin is a visionary. All it takes is one look and we get each other. Every time we work together, we create new, powerful and inspiring images,” says creative director Giuliano Calza, whose fantasy world comes to life on a velvet carpet. 

The SS23 campaign brings together GCDS’s Italian-made craftsmanship and the City of Stars through dreamy and dramatic shots.
