FILIPPA K AND SWEDISH HASBEENS ARE HERE TO SAY: CLOGS ARE HERE TO STAY

Filippa K has announced a new collaboration with footwear brand Swedish Hasbeens to celebrate Swedish heritage and craftsmanship. The exclusive range features a series of handcrafted unisex clogs, designed with timeless style and long-lasting quality. Traditional 1970s silhouettes are interpreted through Filippa K’s 90s lens — proving that a wardrobe essential can also be a statement piece.

The first drop of the collaboration introduces the Backstrap Clogs in three colourways. The black and nature editions are made using chrome-free vegetable tanned leather, and the printed snake nougat edition is also chrome-free. The leather is attached to a wooden sole cut from a single piece of lime tree, with a rubber base for traction and durability. Featuring a buckle strap across the top which can be moved to create a heel strap, the shoes are designed for versatile styling.

”Clogs have always been a timeless classic for me that evoke so many emotions. Swedish Hasbeens have mastered the traditional Swedish handicraft, and work it into a modern product with impeccable quality that’s made to last. It’s an incredible opportunity for us to combine the Filippa K universe with the Swedish Hasbeens universe, and create products that represent our shared values.”

Liisa Kessler, Filippa K Creative Director

“We’re proud to create these new clogs in collaboration with Filippa K, an iconic Scandinavian fashion house that shares our vision of sustainable and well-made fashion.”

Emy Blixt, Creative Director, Designer and Founder of Swedish Hasbeens

Launching on June 15th, the first drop will be available in select stores and partners, and at filippa-k.com. Additional styles will be introduced in future drops as part of Filippa K Spring/Summer 2024.
