A symbol that represents not only the world’s iconic rock-and-roll band, but also a lifestyle, a swagger for a way of being anti-authoritarian, and embracing one’s sexuality. The Rolling Stones’ famous mouth and tongue motif appears in a lineup of exclusive Dsquared2 pieces, bringing together fashion, culture, art and music.

Given the Dsquared2 treatment, the symbol takes on a new contemporary identity, printed in maxi format on the front of a men’s white cotton poplin shirt—one version sleeveless— and precision slashed in strips, so the logo moves when its wearer does. The same cut effect is used in a women’s cropped version of the shirt.

Embellished in micro crystals, the red mouth and tongue stand out on a men’s sleeveless jersey T-shirt. Creating a true rock-and-roll glamour piece, a women’s top with skinny halter straps is constructed from a network of beads which form a V shape at the hem, and swing in movement.

The symbol is also embroidered on black baseball caps, and a line of cheeky men’s and women’s underwear. A shimmering crystal mouth and tongue patch is placed at the front and rear of a white stretch cotton bra and knickers, combined with stripes on the waist band. Guys’ briefs feature the crystal patch logo on the front below the striped waist band.

The Dsquared2 and The Rolling Stones project will be available in stores from end of January 2024.
