Dream Unit

The name Dream Unit was coined after reading a magazine found in Seoul. The story was about a character that struggled with blurring the lines between the physical world and the digital world. It evolved around something called Memory Unit which was filled with pictures. This scattered story upheld a “if you didn’t make a pic it didn’t happen” mentality. This topic made the owners Evy Cornelie and Teun Bouwman think about their role in the creative industry. They dream about a different unit, one that presents a more tactile world, where they can make other creatives’ dreams come true.

About the Space

In Dream Unit’s dynamic physical space, Evy Cornelie and Teun Bouwman have curated tons of unique pieces, made by cutting edge creators, ranging from clothing to jewellery to fine arts and books. In this space anyone who loves interesting objects is welcome to engage in the dialogue that they start by exploring the artists’ works and their stories.

The store focusses on items that are handcrafted, responsible, and made in smaller quantities. Dream Unit offers a physical space to creators that often don’t get the exposure they deserve yet. By bringing communities together, the project aims to uplift these niche brands.
