A collision of everyday rebellion and everyday cool. The new Dr. Martens x GANNI release is a fresh take on a cult classic boot, dropping on December 1st.

The collaboration was shot by British photographer Grant James-Thomas and features French musician and producer, Oklou.

Copenhagen-based GANNI stormed onto the fashion scene in 2000 as one of the city’s most dynamic outputs. Fueled by playfulness, positivity, and an ambition to be progressive, it quickly made a name for itself as an innovator in design — a local hero turned global movement. Known for its exploration of next-gen fabrics and their innovations platform Fabrics of the Future, GANNI isn’t afraid to break boundaries. This instinctual impulse to do things differently is where the brands collide. Instead of convention: a need for fluidity. In place of outdated labels: freedom of expression.

It’s such a legacy brand, and their boots have transcended generations, becoming symbols of subculture, self-expression, and individuality. Being able to collaborate with them on their Jadon boot is such an honour. We wanted to pay tribute to the music scene, which has served as a massive inspiration for me and always felt like a place for connection.”

For the release, GANNI puts its distinctive stamp on the Jadon boot — incorporating its signature butterfly logo and dual branding. The boot is remastered in a blend of recycled materials: combining recycled polyester with leather-free materials. Classic Dr. Martens yellow welt stitching is mirrored with yellow accents around the laces.

Easy to wear but with a bold edge. As confident as the people who wear them. The collaboration celebrates kicking back against conformity and doing things your own way.
