Initiating a captivating encounter between the different customs highlighting the festive season, from the City of Light to the British capital, Dior has dreamed up a veritable “kingdom of dreams“, especially thought up for Harrods, which revisits the tradition of gingerbread houses. Within the British department store, a fabulous exhibition will be unveiled, reproducing the architecture of the emblematic Dior locations – from Granville to La Colle Noire, via 30 Montaigne – in reduced proportions. An oniric universe, entirely made of finely elaborated biscuits, decorated with arabesques and delicate sketches, expressing the audacity and art of detail dear to the House. Playing with optical effects and dimensions, this work – at once miniature and magistral – invites onlookers to observe the places that have marked the history of Christian Dior in a new perspective. A poetic escapade where the heritage and inspirations of the House of Dior can be discovered through the prism of beauty and the unexpected. To experience the exhibition, guests need to book their visits online on: www.thefabulousworldofdior.com/registration.
