Plunged in fascinating shadows, the creations dreamed up by Kim Jones are revealed in a series of shots alongside a luminous sculpture of Bobby, Christian Dior’s faithful dog – a major inspiration for the artistic director right from his very first show. Delicate bells of lily of the valley – the founding couturier’s lucky flower – light up the decor with a hint of grace and magic. The ultra-contemporary Safari and Saddle bags, together with the Dior 8 collection, are distinguished by their design and functionality. The iconic Dior Oblique motif flourishes on shoes from the Dior Combat line, the B33 and B27 sneakers, along with down jackets, a tie and leather goods. In a maxi version, the timeless jacquard unfurls on the B23, adding a bold touch to the look. Symbolizing the house’s heritage, the initials “CD” punctuate the B57 and the B30, jewelry and a pair of gloves. Objects of desire to be given as precious keepsakes.
